Additionally, you will follow along on the journey of the doctoral capstone experience at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where we will investigate the available literature on this topic, identify the gaps in OT rehabilitation, and lastly, develop 4 deliverables that will ensure patients are being provided with the best possible care after their internal hemipelvectomy procedure. This course has been developed with a combination of the currently available literature, evidence-based practices, and clinical experience within MD Anderson’s orthopedic oncology department.
