3) Profit Center Accounting – Used to calculate the profit of an area of responsibility within the organization (e.g. branch).

4) Cost Center Accounting –Used to perform Controlling activities in an organization with an aim to perform profitability analysis of each functional area and helps all cost to be assigned to source.
