-
Net Promotor score or NPS
-

-
Stakeholder Cube
-
Stakeholder engagement assessment matrix
Explanation
This is one of the new topics introduced in the 7th edition of the PMBoK guide and the PMP exam may test your understanding on the application of net promoter score and how it can be useful in the project management.
Net Promoter Score (NPS) is a metric that is often used in project management to measure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
NPS is typically measured through a survey, where customers are asked to rate how likely they are to recommend the project or the product to a friend or colleague, on a scale of 0 to 10.
Based on the responses, customers are categorized into three groups:
-
Promoters (score 9-10),
-
Passives (score 7-8), and
-
Detractors (score 0-6).
Other options such as stakeholder engagement assessment metrics and stakeholder cube are used during the project management and specifically during the stakeholder engagement but it is not used to measure the customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Monte Carlo Simulation technique can be used for project planning, monitoring, and control. It is not directly relate to measuring customer satisfaction and loyalty like the Net Promoter Score.
