You will learn the base principals of setting your business up for success.
I’ll guide you using video and templates to help you initiate your business and finance plan. You’ll learn why its important to have a mission, core values and purpose in your company and understand why pinch points are necessary and how to use them for marketing and sales in the coming weeks.
By the end of these lessons you’ll have foundations in place and be ready to build your brand identity.
Week 2 is about establishing who you are as a brand and creating the design
aspects of your business that make your brand special. This is a very important part
of the process and will set your tone and style for now and for years to come.
We will establish, your branding colours, tone of voice, fonts and how to create a
branding board. I talk through these points and explain what they are and why they
are important.
Week 3 is understanding fashion design, how to create your own designs and the details you need to get your ideas from your head into a real life product.
We are getting into the fun stuff now and the reason why you are here.
I’ll take you through the process of designing, sampling and how to find a good manufacturer.
You’ll be provided with tech pack templates so you have a professional template ready to use and I’ll guide you through video on each step. You’ll learn how to price your clothing and the different methods you can do this. This week is packed with information and everything you need to know to design and create your clothing collections.

Its all starts with where you choose to sell your products.
Establishing what route you want to go down is key. Your goals will determine where and how you will sell your products.
We’ll talk about what selling platforms are best and why and how to set up your website while on a budget.
Setting up your online store and important apps I learnt the hard way about to add into your website to make your life easier!
This is the fun part of setting up the platform and gateway for your community to buy the amazing clothing you have designed.
Your website should be flawless, eye-catching and easy to use for your ideal customer.
Should you choose to sell in-store, we’ll talk about the pro’s and cons of selling in other stores and the difference between wholesale orders and consignments.
Week 5 and 6 is all about Sales and Marketing and over 2 weeks because this is the most crucial part to making your business a success. Its one part to have a great product and another part to be able to market then sell your product. You need to learn these aspects of the business to scale your clothing brand and make it a success.
We cover building a marketing plan with a template for you to fill out and plan your strategies.
We go through the customer journey, so you will learn the touch points a customer will to through to make a purchase.

We talk about creating a process for your business now and how it will help when you scale. It may seem like a minimal thing to learn about but this is a crucial part of the business. You want to create a wonderful experience for your customer, and make them remember you.
