The course is about Rstudio and R language. It is most interesting to go through the econometrics with its application so There is an overview about econometrics and its widely used application Rstudio IDE. I have gone through many statistics courses myself. I think stata, eviews are also good softwares but R is better because it is opensource and everybody can access it. Also it is created by statisticians and maintained by them. There are more than 10000 packages which make it easy to perform needed operations and get their outputs.
