Chapter 06: VFX & Rendering using 3DS Max & Vray5
We start this chapter by preparing the scene for VFX before the fun begins! We start by an introduction to PheonixFD to make sure that everyone is on the same sheet of music. After that we create the fireball , then we jump to the burnt bat and we finish this section by creating a large fire in the forest.
After we finish the VFX we go back to improve our scene to the extent of 99%. We start fixing the issues such as: Lightmeshes (fireflies), we improve the character material to a decent result, we add a realistic animated grass and more …
Rendering is extremely annoying because it takes a lot of time and all the available resources that you have, so before you hit that render button you need to make sure of a couple of things. So I give my approaches how to render an animation sequence.
