Green Leaf. Starting a new document to create the art. Using “Ellipse shape” in creating the Leaf with the help of Shape builder tool and applying the color.

Flower Petals. Creating a Flower petals using a Ten pointed star shape. Also using “Pucker & Bloat” Effects tool to transform the original sharp edges to desired petal shape.

Flower Center Disk. Simple circle shape is created with “Ellipse shape” and apply the color.

Pot. Enabling smart guides in assisting as a guide to draw vector shapes. Using a Rectangle shape along with “Free Transform Tool” to achieve the desired pot shape.

Stem & Assembling. Creating a simple stem with Rectangle shape. Assembling all the previously created art pieces to bring our flower to the life by arranging them in proportion to each other.

Creating Shadows. Achieving shadow effect by adding a new shape along with help of Shape builder tool. Adjusting opacity to get the desired effect.

Background Shape. Using “Pen tool” along with Bezier handles to create the abstract shape as a main background to our art work.
