I transitioned from being a developer for 8+ years in the video game industry to working in UI/UX Design for drone products. My hope for this e-course is to support other designers who are interested in working the drone industry and make transitioning smoother for you.
I’ve shipped both numerous software applications and hardware products for drones for a myriad of customers – from professional photographers and athletes to defense and public safety agencies. Over the years I’ve spoken on Game UX for VR, Product Design for Drones, responsible design for emerging technologies, and social impact at GDC, AUVSI Xponential, AIAA SciTech, NASAO, and the Lesbians Who Tech & Allies Summit.
I hope you enjoy the course and please do not hesitate to reach out to me with questions!
Lastly, this course does not cover the basics of mobile/web visual design nor how to conduct research- that would need to be a separate course.
