Welcome to ProtoPie Components Fundamentals. Here you’ll begin your journey mastering ProtoPie components!

I’m super excited to finally kick this off. There’s so much cool stuff you can do with components but before we get to that you need to get a few fundamentals under your belt!

In this course, I’m going to take you through the theoretical pillars of creating components. I’m not going to assume any prior knowledge of components, even at their conceptual level.

You’ll learn everything you need to know about creating components to an advanced level.

I’ll show you all my secrets, tips and tricks of how to create smart components that talk to each other and that are easy to configure.

This course isn’t just about passive learning though. It’s chock full of assignments and quizzes designed to make sure that what you learn stays in your head. I’ve applied several advanced higher-order thinking techniques to help cement the knowledge so you can walk away with confidence and the skill to create any component you can think of.

While this course doesn’t assume any prior component knowledge, you’ll get the best out of it if you have completed my previous two courses. To become a true component Ninja you’ll need to understand ProtoPie Formulas so I would suggest you do that course first before this one. If you’re completely new to ProtoPie start with my Total ProtoPie course which teaches you the absolute basics as well as a sneak peek into Formulas and Components.
