Senior citizens and many adults aren’t aware of how to use devices such as laptops or technology in general. The problem mainly arises from not knowing where to look and busy schedules mean a lot of people miss out on basic computer skills courses given out at institutions such as local libraries. I wanted to expand accessibility to all people to learn the basics of computer skills with a free course that they can learn from even if they’re on the go.
This course is taught with a hands-on approach when first teaching how to use and get comfortable with a keyboard and trackpad. I demonstrate the process to make it a lot simpler to follow through with. After teaching the core basics, I walk you through simple step-by-step tutorials on how to begin to use different productivity tools for better convenience and efficiency.
