In this course we will together setup a new SQL Server environment and install a sample database into it.

Transact-SQL is Microsoft’s and Sybase’s proprietary extension to the SQL used to interact with relational databases.

SQL is a domain-specific language used in programming and designed for managing data held in a relational database management system, or for stream processing in a relational data stream management system.

The best way to learn any skill effectively is through practice.  In this course we will perform a variety of SQL queries against an SQL server database,. We will use SQL queries to interrogate and get answers from a database. The queries used in this course  have been used on a real enterprise environment.

SQL is an in demand skill used in data analysis, data science, Business intelligence and generally in environment where there is a relational database system. It is a skill that will be around for a very long time.
