Capoeira is a unique martial art with a huge arsenal of movements and kicks from very basic and simple up to super flashy and advanced kicks.

In this course we will learn some of the more advanced kicks the art of capoeira has to offer, some of which also found their way from capoeira into other martial arts due to their extreme power and aesthetics.

although this course deals with advanced movements, it is designed to fit the novice practitioner as well.

With the help of multiple angles and effects we will learn and practice circular momentum, upper body strength, corporal balance, explosive power, flexibility and correct body mechanics.

* “parafuso com troca”– spinning round house kick with leg switch.

* “amazonas” – single handed handstand kick.

* “martelo de chao” – the floor round house kick.

* “meia lua de compasso” – half moon compass kick.
