This course, designed by two professional dancers and teachers, is a workout method based on a ballet barre. Through it, we will guide you in a fun way to tone your body while creating long, lean, flexible muscles by learning the basics of a ballet barre.
The curriculum focuses on strengthening the core, legs, arms, and back, using proper alignment and technique. Beginning with the basics of each step, the course progresses to teach all of the basic barre exercises. It will provide you with what you need to know about each step, giving you a combination which allows you to master each concept before moving on to the next. The last section of the course will lead you through a warm up, full ballet barre, and cool down, giving you a platform for daily practice.
This course will help you build muscle and coordination, improve your flexibility, and give you the confidence to step into a local open ballet class.
