I will then demonstrate how to create crisp pen lines and teach you how to become a skillful at popular pen techniques such as hatching, crosshatching, stippling, line weights, and washes. I will show you how to draw ink lines over my simple cartoon characters to get you into the groove so you can get a grasp of things before getting too complex. Once I have gotten you to the point where you are familiar with the inking process on paper I have included a digital inking section where I use Photoshop to create inked lines. If you love color, I have added a bonus section to show you how to add digital colors to your lines (whether you did them on paper or Photoshop) and add that all-familiar shading style seen in anime, known as cel-shading. You won’t find this anywhere else!
