This course is specially curated to bring in Awareness and Acceptance of multimodal communication.  Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)is one of the modes of communication to help individuals with Speech difficulties. AAC helps many people to express their thoughts, wants, needs, ideas, feelings etc., and to communicate autonomously.

This course can be viewed by parents & professionals (such as SLPs (speech language pathologists) / speech therapists / OTs (occupational therapists), PTs (physical therapists), clinical psychologists, developmental paediatricians, Paediatric Neurologists) or anyone who wants to understand the basics of AAC or is a communication partner for a non-speaking or minimally speaking individual.

The course is curated by Team Avaz (Lalitha Nagarajan) and moderated by Niveditha Ryali (Speech Therapist).
