In this course, we are going to learn about time. I will show a useful list of vocabulary at beginning level which you could use to ask and answer the question:

What is the time now?

And answer:

It is 7.00 o’clock in the morning.

It is half past seven.

It is quarter too seven (in the evening).

Again, my lessons are designed based on the PPP methodology which encourages you to practice the same word or sentence function many times. You are encouraged to pause the video often and repeat after me for every new words. I will say new words twice, slowly then normally, so that you can hear and recognise how the word is pronounced and repeat.

For sentence structure, we don’t have to follow a strict grammar rule for now, but it is recommended to understand how the sentence is made up so that we can re-produce the sentence and rebuild our thoughts in a nice way and make sure people understand us.

After that we will learn about day of the week, date of the month, month and year. At the end of the course, you will be able to tell time, hold conversations about daily routines and time context.
