Please note that this course, though to be used primarily by high school students, must be purchased by an adult over the age of 18, such as a parent or guardian.

This is a thorough course that covers the speaking section of the IELTS. In it you will find information concerning the entire IELTS exam followed by a comprehensive speaking module. The IELTS speaking section consists of a 15 minute long face to face discussion with an IELTS examiner, and is divided into three parts. It is the same for either the Academic or General exams. In this IELTS speaking module I will guide you through all three sections in great detail.

Speaking part one is concerned with daily topics, such as answering simple questions about your hobbies or the kinds of things you like to eat. I take you through exercises to prepare you for the various topics that could come up. You will also be taught how to expand you answers to last for at least 20 seconds. IELTS’s examiners don’t like short simple answers.

In part two of the IELTS speaking exam, you will be given a card with a topic on it to talk about. In this course you will learn how to prepare to talk about that topic for one to two minutes. You won’t have any problems at all after learning the techniques taught in this course.

Part three is an extension of the topic given in part two, but more abstract and general. In this course you will be able to handle this part with ease. I will also be available for person to person phone chats for an extra fee.

The remaining sections of the IELTS will be added later, and for no additional payment you will be able to come back and take those sections as they become available.
